Dr. Y. Rajasree    B.E, M.E, M.S, Ph.D, MISTE, MIEEE

                Dr.Y.RAJASREE  holds a Ph.D in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Dr. MGR University, Chennai. She obtained her Masters degree in Electronics and Controls from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

                She has 26 years of teaching experience in various positions at DVR  College of Engineering  & Technology, Hyderabad, Velammal Engineering College, Chennai  , Hindustan College of Engineering, Chennai and Valliammal College, Chennai. She is presently Principal of Sridevi Women’s Engineering College at Hyderabad.

                She has 6 years of research experience and has 20 papers to her credit in journals and presented papers in conferences held at Spain, USA and India.Her areas of specialization include VLSI Design , Microprocessor based System Design, Fault Tolerance and Digital Electronics and has received awards for academic excellence.

                She is author of two text books : Advanced Microprocessors (New Age International Publishers) and Electronic Devices and Circuits (Falcon Publishers).

                She is a member of ISTE, IEEE and CSI  and is a reviewer for many journals and conferences.She has guided Masters projects and presently  three students are pursuing Ph.D under her guidance.

                Over the years, Sridevi Women’s Engineering College has become synonymous with quality education, infrastructure and practices. As Principal, I do believe that the college will continue to march ahead in enhancing its image as well as providing world - class education to women. Our performance in academics is praiseworthy, yet, we do not tend to overlook co-curricular activities as well. Students are expected to fully equip themselves such that they are able to face the rigors of life at global level. We spare no effort, what so ever in this direction. We ensure that our students are well acquainted with personalities representing nearly all walks of life. I feel elated to state-that our students, on completion of their tenure in our college are moulded into capable citizens, thereby, fulfilling the needs of their parents, society and above all, represent their nation at global level.
