NSS :
The NSS Unit of Sridevi Women’s Engineering College was established on 9th Sept 2008 under JNTU, Hyderabad. The NSS unit of Sridevi Women’s Engineering College has 100 NSS student volunteers and 10 NSS advisors as per J.N.T. University guidelines.
The primary objective of this Programme is to involve technical students and turn them into responsible Indian citizens by protecting the environment and giving service to people.

NSS SPECIAL CAMP REPORT (31-12-2008 to 9-1-2009) :
A Special Production Oriented Programme titled “Dress the Little Tots” was held on 7th Jan 09, as apart of the 10-day Special CampProgramme at Sridevi Women’s Engineering College, Hyderabad. The enthusiastic Student NSS volunteers, Staff, Students and well-wishers contributed a handsome amount of Rs.75,000 (seventy five thousand rupees only) to distribute the Complete School Uniform (school dress, belt, badge, socks and shoes) to 142 Students of Govt. Primary School, V.N.Pally, Hyderabad. This was an Endeavour to encourage and help the primary students take the studies seriously. |
