ABOUT OUR CAMPUS................

          Sridevi Women’s  Engineering College provides perfect academic environment and latest learning resources to help the students make the most of their career goals. Upto 2003 , the college comprised of engineering departments –CSE, ECE, EEE. Thereafter college expanded and new departments-- Information Technology and EIE were added gradually.  PG programmes MBA and MCA were added subsequently. Recently M.Tech courses-----Embedded systems and CSE were added. Plans are to start M.Tech courses in VLSI and Power systems.

           To provide the foundation and enable the students to fulfil their aspirations to become competent Engineering professionals, college is equipped with excellent infrastructure. Campus is spread over 25 acres with impressive facilities provided in the UG and PG blocks.

UG BLOCK

• Ground Floor : Principal office, Administrative office, Examination section, Computer centres, Chemistry Laboratory , Physics Laboratory, Girls waiting room, CSE staff room , EEE Laboratories and classrooms  for final years.
• First  Floor  : First year classrooms, ECE department Laboratories , HOD and staff rooms of ECE and EEE departments, TPD office, Tutorial rooms ,waiting room, conference hall and seminar halls.
• Second Floor : Classrooms for second  and third years, EIE Laboratories, EEE laboratories , EDP cell , EDP cell , Indoor sports room, staff rooms of IT and Science & Humanities departments, tutorial rooms, drawing halls , waiting room and seminar halls.
• Third Floor :  seminar hall, rooms for future expansion and water softening plant.

PG BLOCK

• Basement : Central Library
• Ground Floor :  Sridevi Amphi  Theater ( auditorium having 1000 seating capacity ) , R & D cell,  M.Tech CSE--- computer centre, department library , seminar halls and class rooms  for MCA .
• First  Floor : M.Tech Embedded Systems – Laboratories and department library, class rooms for M.Tech and MBA, seminar halls, panel rooms for interviews.
• Second floor : class rooms and seminar halls for future expansion.

           Halls are utilised by college for conducting special seminars. SWEC believes in creating all rounders and not just academics. With this in mind, sports and cultural activities are encouraged.
