DAY 1- PAPER PRESENTATION

ENTRY FEE: Rs 300/-

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY

TOPIC: RELATED TOPICS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE STREAMS

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: MAX 2

last date of abstract submission as 25th September.

OPEN FOR: ECE , EEE, IT, CSE , EIE

Rules

  • Maximum number of participants in a Team is 2.
  • Abstract should not exceed 1 page and Paper should not exceed 15 pages.
  • The subject of the mail with the attached abstract and later, the final paper should be the domain and sub-category under which the paper is categorized.
  • Bring your college I-Card & receipt on event day
  • Please bring your PowerPoint presentation on a pen-drive.
  • Soft-copies of the submitted paper and PowerPoint presentations must be in the .docx format.
  • Please bring 2 hardcopies of the submitted paper on the day of the event.
  • The teams will get 10 minutes for presentation followed by question and answer session.
  • Persons from different institutions can be a part of the same team. However, one person may not be a part of multiple teams for the same event.
  • The mail with submissions should contain:
    1. Title- theme of the paper.
    2. Name of both the authors.
    3. Phone no of both the authors.
    4. E- Mail ID.
  • Paper should be in a one column format & should not exceed 15 pages.
  • Paper should be in Times New Roman font of size 12.
  • For headings use bold and a font of size 16.
  • Paper must contain index, list of figures, list of tables, abstract, introduction, point wise description of subject and conclusion and references.
  • Paper must be preceded by a cover page specifying the title of the paper, names of authors and their college names as also their contact numbers and email ids.
  • Last day to submit soft copy of your report (via e-mail) will be ten days prior to the day of presentation.
  • After you have submitted the soft copy, a panel of judges will go through your material and if you are shortlisted to give the presentation, you will be notified.
  • The abstract mail should contain abstract, references, your e-mail id and mobile number.
  • The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or appeal will be entertained

DAY 1 - POSTER PRESENTATION

TOPIC: TECHNICAL

OPEN FOR: ECE , EEE, IT, CSE , EIE

Rules

  • A participant must bring his own prepared chat for presentation which is simple and easily understandable with limited text in it.
  • Participant must mention his/her details in the chart.
  • A candidate must and should introduce (Name, Year, Branch, and College) themselves at the beginning. After one’s introduction his/her presentation starts.
  • Participant must cover-
    1. Introduction and Back ground information of the topic he/she has chosen.
    2. Results of the topics (tables, graphs, charts.).
    3. Conclusion
  • After the warning bell the candidate is given 2min to wind up his presentation. After that 2 mins candidate’s speech will not be considered.
  • Time Limit- 8mins
    1. Warning bell – 8 mins
    2. Closed - 10 mins.
  • A candidate will have to give his/her speech in only English any other language other than English will not be considered.
  • All the candidates enrolled for the competitions must assemble in the allotted room before the competition starts, no middle entries will not be entertained.
  • If a candidate does not turn up for the next round his/her name will be striked off from the list.
  • NOTE: The volunteers are strictly prohibited from helping the candidates during the competition in any manner.

Day 1 - GENERAL QUIZ

  • Only team registrations are allowed.
  • A team shall consist of three.
  • Decision of quiz master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
  • No electronic devices are allowed
  • College Id card is mandatory.

DAY 1 - JAM

Rules

  • No phones allowed.
    1. Phones will be taken away at the entrance and the candidate will be given a token which he/she has to show at the time of leaving to get his/her phone in order to avoid cheating
  • No prompting allowed. Candidates who are found prompting will be disqualified.
  • A candidate must and should introduce themselves( Name, Year, Branch, College) at the beginning. After one's introduction his/her's 1min starts.
  • A candidate’s speech should begin with the buzzer and end with the buzzer.
  • After the buzzer the candidate’s speech will not be considered.
  • A candidate should speak for one whole minute or else his speech won’t be considered.
  • A candidate will have to give his/her speech in only English any other language other than English will not be considered.
  • All the candidates enrolled for the competitions must assemble in the allotted room before the competition starts any middle entries will not be entertained.
  • Each round is an elimination round. Candidates shortlisted must remain to participate in the next round.

Day 2 - TREASURE HUNT

Event name: Treasure hunt

Entry fees: 400/- per team (maximum 4)

Type of registration: Online registration & spot registrations

Open to all branches

Rules

  • 4-5 clues will be provided.
  • Any objects moved by you in the process of hunting, kindly replace it back.
  • Numbers are mentioned on the clues and clues must be found in a particular order, skipping of clues leads to disqualification of the team.
  • Do not tamper the clues meant for other teams

PROCEDURE

  • Each team consists of maximum 4 members.
  • Team numbers will be given to the teams.
  • 5 clues will be given in total.
  • Each team will be picking up 1st clue of some color.
  • Colors count will be according to the number of teams.
  • Any 2 teams will be getting the same color, both the teams get 1st, 2nd and 3rd clue. But only 1 team gets the 4rth clue.(the first team who finds the clue will continue hunting and the other team which didn’t find the clue gets eliminated.)
  • All the clues of the team are different and located at different locations. But the final destination i.e, the treasure is same. The team which finds the treasure wins.
  • Winners will be getting a surprising treasure.

DAY 2 - CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY (PICTURE PATCH)

Entry fees: Rs 150 per participant

Type of registration: Online registration & spot registrations

Rules for the contest

  • All the photos should be taken only in college premises.
  • The photographer must be the author of the picture submitted in his/her name.
  • Not a team work , individual work is appreciated.
  • Each photographer should submit only one best picture clicked in the given time limit.
  • Extra time will be given for editing.
  • Only single exposure , stitched panorama , either produced in camera or with image editing software will not be accepted.

Pictures must meet the following specifications

  • Upload the images with the original pixel size , do not scale and do not change the resolutions.
  • Must be uploaded in JPEG format with high quality expression .
  • We will use winning images for high quality reproduction.

DAY 2 - PROJECTEXPO

Rules

  • Any student from the above mentioned discipline can register for the competition
  • Each team must have a minimum 2 and maximum 4.
  • The abstract must be submitted at the time of registration
  • Or three days prior to the day of the event
  • The mail with submissions should contain:
    1. Title theme of the project
    2. Names of the team members
    3. Phone no of any of the member in the team
    4. Email id of any member of the team
  • Please bring the hard copy of the abstract on the day of the event
  • Students registered should not rely on other equipments
  • To be provided they should bring their own project kits/laptops
  • The expo will be different or CSE/IT and ECE/EEE/EIE
  • If required power supply will be provided
  • Every project will be allotted a time limit of 10-15min

DAY 2 - CODING (CLASH OF CODES)
